2-3 year olds (Garden Room)
Our 2 – 3 year old class (known as Red Group) offers a welcoming learning experience where children thrive and achieve the best they possibly can. It is led by highly qualified and experienced nursery staff, who create a stimulating environment with open-ended resources to develop each child’s imagination.
Each session begins with a short circle time which includes registration. Following this, the children have a healthy snack of fruit and/or vegetables and choose either milk or water to drink. The children are then encouraged to explore the many varied activities both indoors and out.
One of our main aims is to prepare children for their transition into our nursery class. For this, we encourage independence skills and co-operation. This includes beginning to manage their own personal hygiene and dressing themselves.
